Despite an unprecedented empirical interconnection of our global system, 2024 will see the world face escalated critical challenges such as new block confrontations, polarised public debates, and the risk of increased opposition to well-grounded sustainability policies. To meet these challenges, an uptake of integrated approaches that align the multitude of meaningful interventions towards sustainability is highly warranted. A diverse, coordinated, and collaborative effort across all stakeholders and levels is essential to effectively address the multifaceted nature of these issues and create a path towards a sustainable and resilient future. …
